Reflections on Europe (ROE) is a grassroots non-governmental organization from Poland dedicated to promoting European values, youth participation, civic engagement, and education. The association was officially registered in 2018, although its founders had already been active since 2015, organizing debates, workshops, and seminars about the European Union as an informal initiative. The organization brings together people interested in European affairs, local development, culture, entrepreneurship, youth policy, and both formal and non-formal education. Its mission is to create opportunities for young people to participate in discussions about social and political issues while developing their competencies and active citizenship.

ROE works particularly in the Świętokrzyskie region of Poland, one of the less economically developed areas in the country. Through its initiatives, the organization supports the personal growth and integration of young people, encouraging them to become active members of their communities and to engage in European dialogue.

The association focuses on:

  • Increasing knowledge about the European Union, its history, activities, and values
  • Promoting youth participation in civic and democratic processes
  • Creating spaces for dialogue, cooperation, and exchange of experience between organizations and institutions
  • Encouraging non-formal education, youth mobility, volunteering, entrepreneurship, and intercultural dialogue
  • Promoting tolerance, diversity, and peaceful problem-solving.

ROE collaborates with a wide range of partners including schools, universities, municipalities, NGOs, and European institutions, such as Eurodesk, Europe Direct, and the European Commission Representation in Poland. Through these partnerships, the organization informs and empowers young people to participate actively in European and local initiatives.
